Eu, mama, tata, bunica, Ana şi Mihai plecăm la magazin. Vrem să cumpărăm nişte lucruri pentru acasă. Mama cumpără două perdele crem. Sunt foarte moi. Ana vede o fustă albă. Dar este puţin mare. Iată aici o fustă vernil. Este bună pentru Ana. Mama pune această fustă în coş. Pentru tata cumpărăm o pereche de pantofi. Pentru bunica o pălărie galbenă. Plătim la casă.
The translation into English:
Me, mother, father, grandmother, Ana and Mihai, we are going to the store. We want to buy some things for home. Mother is buying two cream curtains. They are very soft. Ana is seeing a white skirt. But it is a little big. Here is a lime green skirt. It is good for Ana. Mother is putting this skirt into the basket. For father we are buying a pair of shoes. For grandmother we are buying a yellow hat. We are paying to the cash desk.
Grammar:
I) After the verb “a vrea” we use the subjunctive.
II) The adjectives of two termination that end in consonant usually form the feminine by adding the desinence –ă” to the masculine form.
Note: The word “casă” means in Romanian “cash desk” too.
