Nouns ending in consonant
They form the plural by palatalizing consonant. Frequently phonetic alternations are met.
Please observe the consonant alternation t/ţ.
Nouns ending in a palatalized consonant
They don’t change their form when pluralized.
Nouns ending in –u
They form the plural by adding the desinence –i vowel to the root.
Nouns ending in –u semivowel
They form the plural by adding the desinence –i semivowel to the root.
Nouns ending in –i semivowel
They have the same form for plural.
6) Nouns ending in –e form the plural by palatalizing consonant. Sometimes there are phonetic alternations.

They form the plural by eliminating the –ă and by palatalizing consonant.
