The nominative and accusative cases forms of the indefinite article are:
For masculine and neuter singular: un
For feminine singular: o
For masculine, feminine and neuter plural: nişte
Read and listen to the following sentences:
Eu am o carte=I have a book.
Tu cumperi nişte flori=You are buying some flowers.
Pe cap are o basma=On the head she has a kerchief.
(As a rule we do not use the personal pronoun before a verb. We say: “are” rather than: “ea are.”)
Aici lucrează nişte fete=Here some girls are working.
Un bărbat cântă=A man is singing
În pădure sunt nişte lei şi nişte tigri=In the forest there are some lions and some tigers.
Nişte bărbaţi lucrează in casă=Some men are working in the house.
Nişte fete pictează=Some girls are painting.
